// November 2nd, 2009 // No Comments » // TwitrPix

tuneinTune In is a web-based Twitter application that let’s you visualize your tweets by integrating inline viewing methods such as image previews without having to click a link. The TwitrPix API has been integrated which will show you TwitrPix thumbnails inline to the tweets. This is a great feature and allows you to essentially tune-in to your tweets. Besides photos, you can also see screenshots of web sites and video thumbnails of links referenced both from the public stream or from “channels” you set up to help isolate any noise.

// September 28th, 2009 // No Comments » // TwitrPix

friendbinderThere’s been so much going on behind-the-scenes with TwitrPix lately. Tons of new updates have already been completed and although the roadmap is getting smaller, its growing at the same time. One of the recent surprises was a DM I got from someone on Twitter who told me about a really cool app called, friendbinder.

Tweetree Integrates TwitrPix for Inline Photo Viewing

// August 22nd, 2009 // No Comments » // TwitrPix

111593_scr_thumbWe think its important to allow users to experience TwitrPix outside of the .com site in as many ways as they like, using whatever app they already use. Which is why its exciting to see that Tweetree has integrated the TwitrPix API and allows you to view TwitrPix photos inline to your tweets. Typically when viewing tweets, you may see a link to a TwitrPix photo. However, using Tweetree’s web interface those photos are now shown to you within the context of the tweet — without having to visit another site. Besides photos, Tweetree also supports a number of other content providers like YouTube videos, Flickr, Qik videos and more.

TwitrPix… the road ahead.

// May 23rd, 2009 // No Comments » // TwitrPix

We’ve been really happy with the development progress behind-the-scenes with TwitrPix. At a recent discussion of the project with associates, the topic came up of why an alternative. Our answer was simply, “Why not?” The beauty of the internet is that you cannot remain in a holding pattern. Things change online at the speed of light. This was one of our main concerns with using other services as normal users — we didn’t see develop foster as quickly as it should nor were we confident in the reliability of the services we tried. So yes, we are David when it comes to this space we’re trekking through.

With that being said, we have a really great roadmap ahead of us in the coming weeks. The goal is to simply make the easiest and coolest application to share photos on Twitter out there. Without giving away too much, I can say that we will be posting new feature updates the day (or night) its pushed into production. Although things have been somewhat quiet on the blog about it, we’ve actually done 3 updates recently.

Looking forward to seeing some great photos this Memorial Day weekend. Yes, we’d like to see those family BBQ photos, the photo of Uncle Ed with more food on his plate than he should be eating, Cousin John which you haven’t seen in years (but yet he always shows up once a year for the BBQ), your 2nd cousin Lisa trying to moonwalk after one to many Coronas. Send them in, not only would we like to see them but I’m sure your friends on Twitter would as well.

Be safe.
